About Rena

I grew up exploring the US and Europe with my family of six in a VW van. My academics took me across the globe. I studied at the American College in Paris, Bard College and Ohio State University with degrees in theatre arts. My moves have been from NYC to Brooklyn to Jersey City to South Orange and now Maplewood. My roots are firmly in SOMA.

SOMA is my home for over 26 years now. I raised three children in this diverse community. They attended the public schools and enjoyed the towns’ recreational offerings. As a long-time resident, I have become a virtual director of all the amazing resources that South Orange and Maplewood have to offer.

My children are now adults and I recently decided to downsize. Many local residents face the same dilemma of wanting to keep ties to this neighborhood but are seeking less space. I proved it was possible by moving from South Orange to Maplewood and gut renovating a bungalow. The process was exhilarating and was featured in Matters Magazine.

I began my career in real estate in the fall of 2008, immediately following the housing crash. My goal from the start was to help my neighbors through the challenging process of selling their homes.

I thoroughly enjoy my profession. I love meeting new people, building long-term client relationships and providing advice on the home buying and selling process.

See you in town!
